Yesterday I had a blowing mind experience as long as I was helping as a translator for a huge international championship that has been taking place here in my town. Currently, my city has been receiving an out of ordinary number of people in due to a Paragliding World Cup, however,

We can not offer a wide and high quality of services to the tourists because there a not enough people able for speaking another language, primarily, english.

First, I've started weigh my idea up when I've watched an amazing video about young people, between 18 years old, who have been doing an extraordinary job in their communities as social entrepreuners. Thus, I enlightened about two facts: 1ª I know a language and 2º I do enjoy to teach and help people a language.

Second, It is notrious that a few part of people can afford an english course, then, I decided to teach english, without spending any money, therefore, needy people would be able for learning english.

In summary, this project reaches two great goals, people may learn another language what, consequently, improves their chances to get a better employment and they may help to fill a sort of gap in my city work as translators, for instance.

Yesterday I was thinking about an outstanding idea, perhaps, you've heard something about an english bar.

It is not a real english pub, but, a sort of place where a certain number of people could attend for learning and, mainly, practising their english.

It'll not be english grammar talk, it is beyond of that, probably, a place where people will not get afraid to speak and learning a wide variety of subjects and topics in english.

It seems a great alternative for those who do not live in a native country. Instead of you talk to your friends in your native language, please, you guys can effort yourselves for practising in english as long as you folks hang out.

Whether you do not have friends who speak english as a second language you have two alternatives: you teach english to him - that's a great opportunity to enlarge your skills- or use skype to talk to a person who speaks english.

Tip - When I was learning my first words/sentences in english, I used listening a blast of songs, mainly, pop rock, dance and even Rap.

First of all, it was pretty hard for me to find a person who speaks english and, consequently, I did not have enough opportunities for practicing, though, Internet, and, mainly, You Tube became an extraordinary way for increasing my english skills.

Second, they are important in order to learn slangs and new expressions, actually, I used to listen pop songs because they are full of phrasal verbs.

Third, intonation it is too important for you get the rythm, thus, whether you pay attention in what the singer is saying, doubtless, you're gonna correct your speaking mistakes and, consequently, improving your speaking abilities.

In conclusion, it is also imperative get the lyric and follow it and, mainly, understanding clearly what the song is about. Please, do not read a translated version, when a doubt comes up try to solve it using a dictionary.
